FUR301 Assembly and Care Manual
The OAKLINE-FUR301 is packed in 3 cartons: the headboard, the steel side rails and footboard, and the slats with hardware. Two people can assemble the queen version in about 30 minutes using the included hex key.
Assembly
- Bolt the side rails to the headboard brackets, leaving the bolts finger tight
- Attach the footboard and the center rail with its support legs
- Square the frame, then tighten all bolts fully
- Lay the slats into the rubber holders from head to foot
Care
Wipe the steel frame with a dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the powder coat. Dust the oak headboard weekly and treat it with furniture oil every 12 months. Adjust the center support legs so they touch the floor firmly after any move. Re-tighten the bolts after the first 4 weeks and then every 6 months to prevent squeaks. Use a mattress no heavier than 60 kg. The structural frame is covered by our 5-year warranty.
