A regional technology company asked Oakline to furnish a new 400-seat open-plan floor. The brief called for flexible workstations, quiet zones and furniture that matched the industrial look of the Urban Loft Series.
Solution
- Height-adjustable desks with oak-veneer tops and powder-coated steel frames
- Mobile pedestals with three drawers and central locking
- Ergonomic task chairs tested to BIFMA standards
- Acoustic screens and shared storage walls
Desks were produced in clusters of four and six, with integrated cable trays to keep power and data lines tidy. Prototype workstations were delivered in 8 days for user testing, and bulk production took 30 days.
The desks ship flat-packed with numbered parts, allowing the installer to assemble around 60 workstations per day on site.
